Well this is the first time I have ever done a blog. It's like an online journal that all my family and friends read right? haha Well Todd and I have been married for almost 3 weeks now. We looooove it! We were married Saturday the 17th of October and went on our honeymoon to Seattle/Victoria area. It's was so fabulous. I guess I can try to put it all together kinda quick here and give ya some pictures too!
So our wedding day was fabulous. Everything went perfect. Seriously. The temple sealing was amazing. I'm so glad that Todd and I were sealed in the temple for all of eternity. Best friends should be together forever! :) We took a few pictures around the temple but we had taken our Bridal/
groomal portraits a month prior so we didn't have to stay at the temple for like 3 hours taking tons and tons of pictures. We went to our hotel to check in and it was so nice! We stayed at the MGM Signature towers and had one of the top floor rooms with a strip view. It was gorgeous! This is before the reception when we checked in and the bottom one is after the reception. We had a limo take us from the reception to the hotel and our caterer made us a basket of food from our reception, which by the way was SO GOOD! So we had our sparkling cider and yummy foods on our balcony!

So we stayed at the MGM towers for two nights and had full access to all of the MGM pools as well as the private pools for each tower so Sunday we just went to the pools and soaked up the last little bit of sun before heading to the northwest.

We flew out of Vegas on Monday morning heading to Seattle and it was BEAUTIFUL! I love Seattle! This is right after we arrived in the
Seatac airport. I was so happy to not be in a plane anymore! :) Plane's aren't my
fav.

So then we went straight to our hotel and checked in. Hotel 1000. It was really nice! Very modern and clean. The bathroom was
saweet! The bathtub filled up from the ceiling, so cool!

Cute husband posing for a picture with the
nakey lady painting in the
backround.
haha After we checked in we went out to explore Seattle. I married a man who does his research and I am SO glad that I did. We knew where all the top stops were to eat and site see. We even knew where the best views were. It was so fun! We had a delicious sandwich at
Zietgiest cafe. Todd and I agree it was easily the best thing we ate on the trip, maybe because we were starving but man it tasted so good! We also got a chocolate covered brownie, shown below. :) Awesome food! Seattle is probably the tastiest city I've ever been to, everything there is so yummy!

We walked around for a while and went to some different book shops, little boutiques and the library...all of which are shown on Todd's
facebook. I don't want to pack this thing with too many pictures. We did get the most amazing cookies I have ever eaten though...Cow chip cookies. SO GOOD. Soft, chewy,
melty chocolate chips, mouthwatering. YUM.

You can ship them to you too. I think this will be my Christmas present to me this year! :)
So then we went to the Columbia tower and were too late to make it to the observation deck but Todd took a sweet picture from the Starbucks on the 46th floor.
That Starbucks has got to have the best view of all the Starbucks in the world!
The next day we did the Savor Seattle food tour in Pikes place. If you ever go to Seattle, I recommend doing this tour. It was nice to get a little history about pikes place and also get to taste some of the most delicious fish ever! We had fresh doughnuts and smoked salmon, crab cakes and chocolate covered cherries. Clam chowder and yummy cheese! It was way neat!
One of my favorite things we did was visit the massive 5 story Nordstrom. I love that store. So much. So so so much. I actually just got back from Nordy's! Went shopping at the half yearly sale with my mom! haha I am obsessed.
John Nordstrom started this company as a shoe store way back when. He was one of the few who struck gold in the Klondike gold rush. You can google it for more info...haha So then we went to Helly Hanson and bought rain jackets, they got a lot of use, especially when we went over to the Olympic national park and Victoria. It was raining cats and dogs!
After the tour we went to Lola, a restaurant that is owned by Tom Douglas. He has been on Iron Chef and won, he owns about 6 restaurants all within a few blocks from each other. Lola has amazing doughnuts. They are fresh and baked to order with a vanilla marscapone cheese sauce and a fresh berry sauce. SO GOOD. If you ever go to Seattle, go there and get the doughnuts.
This picture is at another Tom Douglas restaurant called Serious Pie. Pizza restaurant...also very good. I love this guys food! It's so tasty! I think probably my favorite thing in Seattle was all the delicious food. Did I say that yet? haha
So the next day we took a ferry to Kingston to travel and hike through the Olympic National park. We saw Orca's! So fun!
This part of the trip is where it starts to get wild and crazy green...I loved it! It was like a postcard everywhere you turn! I fell asleep in the car and Todd took one of my favorite pictures of the honeymoon...

I know right? It's amazing. I love the fog and the changing colors! It was like this everywhere! The hikes we went on were SUPER green. We hiked to
Marymere falls and Sol
Duc falls, both totally covered in moss.

This is Sol
Duc falls. It's huge and way powerful. It's really misty when you get up too close. This was way fun to hike to. It was pouring rain but it wasn't too cold and the air is the freshest you can get! So after this we went to Forks and La push which was pretty fun. It was kinda cool to see some of the places that are in the Twilight books. We ate dinner in Port Angeles at the restaurant that Stephanie Meyer wrote about in her books, it wasn't our favorite...to say it in a nice way.
haha We got this gross mushroom ravioli and Todd only ate half because he didn't want to waste it...the waiter took it off our bill and we tipped them really well but man, Todd got sick and it wasn't fun. He got better in time to get on the ferry to Victoria though which was a miracle. We prayed a lot and thankfully God was watching out for us.
Anyway, Victoria was our next destination and the ferry right was COLD. I found myself a heater and stayed put with my hot chocolate. haha Todd was taking pictures left and right which are on facebook if you want to see. Once we got to Victoria we ate breakfast at this cute little restaurant called John's place...it was good, the typical bacon and eggs type of breakfast. We checked in to our hotel in brentwood bay next and THAT was AMAZING. I loved that hotel. The room was bomb.com and the view from the balcony was the best you could get. I loved it, not to mention the bed was SO comfortable.
Awesome view to
brentwood bay and the most comfy bed ever below...

So then we found this cute park that was pretty big. We saw some ducks and dogs. We walked down a cute little path to the beach and explored a little bit. It was fun to just walk around and take in the fresh air. It is really a lot cleaner in Canada. Sorry USA, Canada won that battle.

Okay I really want to go to bed so I am going to hurry up this last little bit.
haha So we went to
Butchart gardens which were absolutely and completely gorgeous and amazing and spectacular. Here is a photo of sunken gardens:

Okay I could upload a lot more but it's not as fun anymore.
haha So go to Todd's
facebook page for more pics. Then we went to
Sombrio beach which is on the coast of Vancouver island facing the Pacific ocean. I love how the trees come right up to the ocean! So cool!

Okay so I am just going to skip a lot of pics now...sorry...we headed home the next day on the
ferry that took us back down through the San Juan islands to Seattle. We drove around and grabbed some of our favorite goodies like some
chukar cherries at Pike's place. We wanted a few things to take home to the families. Oh yea! More Cow chip cookies...
mmm :) Love them. Then we checked in to our hotel and GUESS WHAT?! Yep, Daddy got the BIG SUITE! We got the largest suite in the Pan Pacific towers. Justin
Timberlake and Jamie
foxx have both stayed there. It was HUGE. Loved it!

K then we went to the Seattle temple and did an endowment session there. SO fun! My second time going. I love the temple!

Perfect way to end the trip! I loved every minute of it! The flight home was actually fun!
Yay for getting over my fear of flying. Okay I'm done blogging for the rest of my life.
haha jk Anyways I'm going to bed. Hope you liked our honeymoon! :)
