My mom sent me an email with these truth's of life. I actually laughed out loud at some of them. Like number 5, 12, 15, 19(Hello Grease and Monty Python and the Holy Grail!), 20, 21 and 28! haha So great...
1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.
2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.
4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.
5. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
6. Was learning cursive really necessary?
7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm prettysure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.
9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.
10. Bad decisions make good stories.
11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.
12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.
13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to.
14. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this - ever.
15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Dang it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and runaway?
16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.
17. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
18. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.
19. Sometimes, I'll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what the heck was going on when I first saw it.
20. I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.
21. The only time I look forward to a red light is when I'm trying to finish a text.
22. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.
23. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?
24. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent an ass from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!
25. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.
26. There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far..
27. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.
28. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet my behind everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time!

I love me some springtime!
I Am A Girl - The Girls With Glasses Theme Song from The Girls With Glasses on Vimeo.
This is such a cute video, I love it! Just wanted to share... :)
My family went to the lake this past weekend and it was beautiful! I love the lake! It's so relaxing! My friend Ashley came and brought her son Matix! They are so fun! We love being with them! Matix is almost two years old! Todd and I met Ashley through an institute class and we hit it off! She is one fun cookie. We love her! Here are some pictures that I stole from Ash. The one towards the bottom is Matix and I blowing bubbles on the back deck! He is such a cute kid! I have taught swimming lessons before and NEVER has a child asked ME if they could blow bubbles. Usually I am begging them to do it. It helps them to feel more comfortable with their face in the water! Go Matix!

We celebrated our 6 month anniversary that day too. The lake was a fun way to spend time together and we went to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants-Brio! It's always delish!

I think I'll add some picture of recent events while I'm at it. It rained a LOT this winter and I am so happy about it. Everything is green down here and it's Vegas! Desert land! When we were driving to the lake there were flowers on the hills and everything was full of life! So this is a picture taken of the stratosphere on a REALLY rainy and foggy day this winter. It disappeared!

We celebrated Valentine's day by going to this expensive restaurant that was pretty good. The food was a little weird I guess, we ate oxtail. haha It was salty and as soon as we realized that it was actually the tail of an ox we wanted to throw up. haha But it was still really fun! Todd surprised me with Brad Paisley tickets and I started crying because I REALLY wanted to go see him in concert but most of the good tickets were sold out and Todd made me believe we wouldn't be going, but he pulled out the tickets at dinner and totally surprised me! haha Sweet man, he really is such a wonderful, amazing, loving husband! :)

So here are a couple of pictures of the Brad Paisley concert that we went to. Zach and Staci had tickets too so we said hi to them in between acts. Brad sang our wedding song towards the end of the show and I cried and cried! haha I love my Toddy! Our song is "Then" it totally fits us too. :)

So guess what happened next?! Yep, you guess it. Zach and Staci got engaged. They are getting married on May 8! They are such a cute couple! I am excited to have Staci become a Wilcox! It's a good time, being a Wilcox! :)

So the very next day we went to see Alice in Wonderland with my parents! I love going on double dates with my Mom and Dad, they are really fun! The movie was so good! I love Tim Burton and all his fun movies! I don't think anyone else that I know likes him but I just think he is a fun guy!

So more recently Todd and I went hiking in Red rock. We hiked Ice box canyon and it was HOT outside. We were working up a sweat, but as soon as you get to the end it cools down a ton and I was shivering! We got together with our friends Sean, Lauren and Danny and we had some sushi and walked around City Center. I didn't get any pictures, darn it! It was fun to see them though! :)

Last but not least...Margo is coming home in 12 days! I am so excited to see my best friend again! I seriously think about it every 5 mintues. :) This picture was taken at Lindsay Egbert's house (Excited to see her too!!)

Well I will have to update the blog with our road trip around California soon. Those are on Todd's camera so hopefully soon I can get to that!

Justin Bieber fever!
So Todd found this video and I thought it was hilarious. Then right next to it I saw Justin Bieber holding a little girl in his arms and I was like "No way!" So I watched it and sure enough Jimmy Kimmel had the family come to his studio and introduced them to Justin Bieber. SO CUTE! If I was 15, I would totally love him ....and so would Todd for that matter. haha just joshin.

The domestic life for me!
So tonight I decided to make a real dinner and I was so proud of it, I took a picture! :) Todd loves when I cook, even though I'm not the best. haha I still don't know how to grill chicken and cook it all the way through without burning it. Rachel ray says 5 minutes on each side but I'm pretty sure she only says that because she has to fit a lot of cooking into a 30 minute slot, salmonella food poisoning is probably not on her mind. Anyway so this is what our dinner looked like...
Chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and peas! mmm...I'm proud of me.
Blake's football team won the championship! Great game! He's a stud! A couple of weeks later he received an amazing award at the banquet, it is called the Josh Stevens award, named after a little boy who passed away right before his 13th birthday. There is a foundation set up for him and the website is www.joshstevensfoundation.org. Blake was awarded this because he is honest and kind and has all the attributes that Josh Stevens had in life. I am so happy that my little brother is such an amazing person! I'm grateful for his example! Love love LOVE him! :)
My good friend Stephanie got hitched to her high school sweetie! She's a beauty! It's weird to think all of my close friends that I grew up with are all married, except Margo and that's only because she is on her mission! haha I still can't believe I'm going on 4 months, it's been so wonderful! I love being with Todd all the time! He's my best friend and I have so much fun with him! Well I think I am done for now..going to watch American Idol with my honey! :)
Chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and peas! mmm...I'm proud of me. Well another fun housewife project is my amaryllis. Thanks to my mother, I have this gorgeous flower to smile at me whenever I am in the kitchen! I know plants are pretty easy, water and sunlight...but it's more than that to me! I turn it every day and tell it nice things and wala! It's HUGE! Seriously it grew like 3 inches a day, if not more! So here is Todd with his LARGE amaryllis... heh heh :)
Well I think I'll put up some more pictures of things that have happened recently...Todd and I went to SLC before Christmas and had a blast with family. We went skiing, shopping and to a couple of family parties...then we went to temple square with Scott, Stacie and the kids and after we ran to the mall so I could get my super awesome head warmer thingy...if you don't have one-get one! They are the trend in Utah right now...and you know how those are, they are in and then out before you know it!

So this is Todd and I in my parents leather jackets from the 70's! Woohoo! haha Way hot huh? We thought they were pretty fun.
